Thoughts on the last project of the semester Digital Diary Thinking about myself when I was younger I would write in a diary that had a combination on it.. and some that had locks with little keys. I would write about what I did that day, who I was mad at, doodles, favorite colors, times, dates, and talk about the guys I liked at the time. Thinking back on it now it seems a bit silly, but it was what was going on at the time. I think it would be interesting to explore this project as if I were writing a diary currently in collage.

Focusing on the same things I did when I was younger or focusing on things that are currently going on. I was also thinking for text I could possibly find my old diaries and scan the pages for not only text but texture.

I really enjoyed the collage project earlier in the semester and I feel this might be a nice approach to this project as well.

I want to get the ideas mapped out so I can create collages and go about buying supplies that fit my concept.

I could see trying to put a small lock on the book itself so that you would need a key to open it.

Just some thoughts... more to come...

I'm researching book making to get some ideas for my last project of the semester... a Digital Diary. I found an interesting link... SHANNA LINO.

Still working on my Documentary project! One of my favorites!!
Working on a project for progressive narrative. My fairy tale drawn at random was The Princess and the Pea. I've been doing some research on the story and came across this found imagery. I am interested in portraying the entire story, however focusing in on one aspect might also be an option. I like the idea of mixing dolls or hand drawn imagery mixed with photographs of the scene. I also like the idea of possibly using toys and doll furniture. One last possibility is stacking actual mattresses and comforters. It really would not matter if all of the patterns, designs, or colors were different. The different uses of colors might add to the childlike story or just emphasize the twenty different comforters.
